From error codes to mechanical failures — our techs know every Electrolux fault across Cambridge, Halton Hills and Milton.
Electrolux French door and counter-depth fridges use IQ-Touch controls and CustomFlex door bins. We carry OEM compressors, evaporator fans, ice maker assemblies and control boards for EI and EW series models.
Fridge not cooling
Failed evaporator or condenser fan motor stops airflow — fridge compartment warms while freezer holds temperature.
Ice maker not producing ice
Clogged water inlet valve or failed ice maker module — common on EI French door models with in-door ice dispensers.
Frost build-up in freezer
Failed defrost heater or thermostat causes ice to accumulate on evaporator coils, blocking airflow to both compartments.
Water pooling under crisper drawer
Blocked defrost drain or cracked drain pan causes meltwater to collect and refreeze at the bottom of the fridge.
IQ-Touch display error codes
Control board or sensor faults display error codes and lock the appliance into a protection cycle.
Compressor clicking and not starting
Worn start relay causes rapid clicking without the compressor engaging — fridge never reaches set temperature.
Electrolux EFLS front-load washers use LuxCare Wash System and SmartBoost technology. We carry OEM door seals, drain pumps, motor control boards and drum bearings for EFLS and EWF series models.
E21 drain error
Blocked drain pump filter or kinked drain hose prevents water from evacuating — machine halts mid-cycle with a full drum.
E11 water fill error
Faulty water inlet valve or pressure sensor fault prevents the drum from filling to the correct level.
Door gasket leaking or mouldy
Torn bellows seal allows water to escape onto the floor and causes persistent drum odour on EFLS models.
Drum bearing noise
Worn rear drum bearing produces a loud grinding or rumbling noise during spin — worsens progressively.
Door latch not locking
Failed door interlock prevents the cycle from starting — washer powers on but won't respond to cycle selection.
Motor control board fault
Failed motor control board stops the drum from spinning or causes the washer to halt unexpectedly mid-cycle.
Electrolux EFME steam dryers use LuxCare Dry System and Perfect Steam technology. We carry OEM heating elements, thermal fuses, steam generators, drum belts and moisture sensors for EFME and EWE series models.
No heat — clothes still damp
Blown thermal fuse or failed heating element — often caused by a blocked exhaust vent overheating the unit.
Perfect Steam not working
Blocked steam nozzle or failed steam generator prevents moisture injection — steam refresh cycles produce no benefit.
Drum not turning
Worn or snapped drive belt or failed idler pulley — motor runs but drum stays stationary.
Moisture sensor not ending cycle
Coated or corroded sensor bars misread dryness — dryer runs too long or cuts off with clothes still damp.
Squealing or grinding drum noise
Worn drum glides or rear bearing allows metal-on-metal contact — worsens progressively and can seize the drum.
Door switch failure — won't start
Broken door latch microswitch prevents the control board from receiving the door-closed signal, blocking all cycle starts.
Electrolux dishwashers use SatelliteSpray wash arms and IQ-Touch controls. We carry OEM wash motors, spray arm assemblies, door latches and control boards for EI and EDW series models.
Not draining — standing water
Blocked sump filter or failed drain pump leaves standing water in the tub after the wash cycle ends.
SatelliteSpray not cleaning properly
Clogged satellite spray arm or failed wash motor reduces water pressure — upper rack items come out with residue.
Door latch not securing
Worn or broken door latch prevents the cycle from starting — dishwasher powers on but won't run.
Dishes not drying
Failed heating element or vent fan motor leaves dishes wet at the end of the cycle.
IQ-Touch control panel unresponsive
Main PCB or touchpad failure — buttons register nothing or the unit starts and stops randomly without input.
Grinding noise during wash
Debris lodged in the wash pump impeller or worn motor bearings produce noise that escalates with each cycle.
Electrolux EI induction and gas ranges use SmartBoost and BuiltSure installation technology. We stock OEM induction coils, igniters, infinite switches and control boards for EI and EW series models.
Induction zone not detecting cookware
Failed induction coil or power inverter board stops the zone from energizing — no heat even with compatible magnetic cookware.
Gas burner won't ignite
Cracked or fouled igniter tip prevents spark — burner clicks continuously without lighting on gas models.
Surface element stuck on high
Failed infinite switch locks the coil element at full power regardless of dial position — a burn and fire hazard.
IQ-Touch control error
Control board communication fault causes display errors, burner lockouts or all zones becoming unresponsive.
Cracked glass cooktop
Thermal shock or impact fractures the ceramic-glass surface — continued use risks electrical exposure and requires full replacement.
Gas valve not opening
Faulty gas valve solenoid coil prevents gas flow to the burner even when the igniter sparks normally.
Electrolux EI wall ovens feature Perfect Turkey and Steam Clean technology. We carry OEM bake and broil elements, convection motors, temperature sensors and door locks for EI and EW series wall ovens.
Oven not reaching temperature
Failed bake or broil element reduces heat output — oven takes too long to preheat or never reaches the target temperature.
Convection fan not running
Worn convection fan motor or broken blade causes hot spots and uneven cooking — food browns inconsistently.
Door locked after self-clean
Door latch motor or lock switch fault leaves the oven door locked after a self-clean or Steam Clean cycle completes.
Temperature sensor fault (F30 / F31)
Open or shorted oven temperature sensor sends incorrect readings — oven overheats, underheats or shuts down mid-cycle.
Steam Clean not working
Blocked steam nozzle or failed steam generator prevents moisture injection — Steam Clean cycles produce no cleaning benefit.
Interior light not working
Burned-out bulb or failed light socket board — makes monitoring food during baking impossible.

Recent Jobs
E21 drain error — washer stuck mid-cycle
Natalie's Electrolux EFLS front-loader kept throwing an E21 error and stopping halfway through every cycle. The drain pump filter was packed with debris and the pump itself had seized. We cleared the filter, replaced the pump and tested through a full cycle. No errors, draining normally.
Steam dryer no heat — thermal fuse blown
Mike's Electrolux EFME steam dryer was tumbling but producing zero heat. The thermal fuse had blown due to a partially blocked exhaust duct. We replaced the fuse, cleared the duct and also checked the steam generator while we were in there — it was partially scaled and cleaned it out. Dryer running normally with heat and steam restored.
F30 error — wall oven shutting off mid-bake
Sophie's Electrolux EI wall oven kept displaying an F30 error and cutting out during baking. The oven temperature sensor had developed an open circuit, causing the control board to read no temperature and shut down as a safety measure. We replaced the sensor with an OEM part. Oven holding temperature accurately again.
