Escarpment Appliance Repair started right here in the community — a small team of certified technicians who got tired of watching local families get overcharged by big franchises that don't know the area and don't care to.

Fridge stopped cooling overnight — everything in the freezer started to thaw. Called in the morning and they fit me in the same afternoon. Turned out to be the evaporator fan. Tech had the part on him, done in about an hour. Hasn't skipped a beat since.
Washer was leaking all over the laundry room floor mid-cycle. Booked online Thursday night, tech came Friday morning. Door gasket was torn. He showed me the damage before replacing it, which I appreciated. Quick and tidy — no mess left behind.
Dryer was running but putting out zero heat. Looked it up online and thought it might be the element — it was, plus a blown thermal fuse. Both replaced same visit. He explained why the fuse went and told me to check the vent, which was partially blocked. Good advice.
Dishwasher kept stopping mid-cycle and showing an error code. Tried resetting it a few times — nothing. Tech came next morning, diagnosed it as the drain pump. Had the part, fixed it in under an hour. Dishes actually come out clean now which wasn't even the case before it broke.
Gas stove — one burner kept clicking but wouldn't light. Igniter was cracked. Took about 40 minutes. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is scheduling took a bit longer than I hoped, but the repair itself was solid and the price was fair.
Oven wasn't getting up to temperature — I'd set it to 400 and it barely hit 300. Bake element had burnt through. He had the part in the van, swapped it out, and the oven was back to normal before dinner. Straightforward, no upselling, no drama.
Samsung fridge ice maker stopped working. Called on a Tuesday, came Wednesday. He checked the water inlet valve and the ice maker module — inlet valve was the culprit. Replaced it, tested it, done. Honest diagnosis, didn't try to replace parts that didn't need it.
Dryer drum was making a horrible grinding noise every cycle. Wore-out drum glides. Tech was on time, explained what was happening before he started, replaced the glides and checked the belt while he was in there. Quiet now. Would call them again without hesitation.
